The engineers seem to have missed the orders to file equipment reports periodically. This changes today.

Critical Operations
A couple of Chaos spots in Canon 6D "sensor" were detected at around 202008. A cleansing team was immediately dispatched to deal with the outbreak, but the counter attack resulted in disaster. The assault teams did not know what they were against. They used brushes that rather than clean helped the creatures of the Warp spread. Chaos spots could now be counted by scores. Gel stamps first, cleaning swabs after, were purchased and deployed in the war to dispose of the Chaos scum. Unfortunately, gel stamps were not only ineffective against the large number of Chaos creatures, they left a sticky matter on the sensor that helped those creatures proliferate even more - that was the reward for ca. 5 hours of intense battle in the sensor. 5 hours... Swabs were moderately effective after another 2-3 long hours of battle. Unfortunately, the sticky matter was not cleansed, and a wandering Chaos presence (most likely left overs in the inside of the camera from the very first cleaning atempts) stuck to the sensor again after just a few uses of the camera. So they grew again. What was dirty, but usable, soon became dirty, and disgusting. Air blowers were also deployed but did not help. As of the date of this report, engineers are still considering our options going forward.
Operations
Sale of Optolong L-Pro and Canon 300 f4 were a success (they resulted in a 45% and a 14%, respectively, profit). While those pieces of equipment are top notch, their performance was not found to justify their cost. Ligh pollution tackled by L-Pro will be confronted head on, and in the future may be with different weapons. Canon 300 f4 was replaced with a vintage Sigma lens of +20 years with some shortcomings (such as a stuck aperture). Nevertheless, the acquisition of this lens turned out to be a major success. The lens performs excellently for us, and it was dirt cheap.
