L-Pro Mission III
Data from the last jump has been processed. Unfortunately, data showed some blurriness, already perceived as muted stars in the raw data. Reasons for this?
NGC7000
- improper focus, doubtful
- clouds, probable
- wind, doubtful
- the mount ship issue, possible
However it was, the blurriness undermined the mission somewhat. Still, a result was generated, and analyzed.
The absence of L-Pro, when differences between the two sessions are accounted for, does not seem to affect results that much. That is surprising. One expected the filter was having a larger effect. Could it be that the light pollution plaguing the stars is too intense and too widely spread in the spectrum? At any rate, L-Pro will be disposed of, and resources spent wherever else they prove more helpful in locating the Astronomican.
